Room: About 500 meters from campus / 13 min walk to the main building on campus (house K), 3 months canceling, 3500 kr / month. PS. TV and oven / stove and all windows are exchanged since the pics were taken. Internet, 600 Mbit is shared.

The advantage of this is that it is social, it is a big difference to coming home to an empty apartment, and you do not need to move your own furniture etc. When you study abroad, to my own experience, what you don’t want is living alone, it is all about being social and meeting people. This is a great way. I think most groups staying have had at least one house meal a week, where a team cooks for everyone, as a standing social gathering. Also, it may be unclear, you have of course one door to your room (one key) and then another key to the front door.

The yard is somewhat under construction, but it (it will be pretty much finished by the end of summer). The attached pictures were taken a few years ago. The stove has been exchanged to a newer one, so has the TV, the washing machine and dryer. There are one large fridge, two small, and one large freezer. The TV has cable TV. Internet is included. There is a patio outside, well actually two, one with a stone bbq and one with lounge chairs. The rooms are not big, pictures 368-372, 377-379 are from within a room (they all look the same, I may have a small extra window to the ones at the end of the house during summer though, but apart from that they are basically the same). I strive to have 4 females and 4 males renting. Between each set of 2 rooms there is a bathroom (thus in total 4 bathrooms). Most of what I can come to think of is available (vaccum cleaner, ironing board, iron etc.). Toilet-paper is included in the rent, so is cleaning liquids (not washing powder).

Water, electricity, heat, Internet, is included, kitchen utensils etc is there to be used. Duvet and pillows are not included or formally there, i.e. I do not provide them (because then it is up to me to keep them up to standard etc. One person spilling coffee that will not wash away is enough to ruin it if I formally provide it), but there are in most cases such there that the previous student in the room washed and left, that people use.
